The following is a work email that was in my inbox when I got back from vacation. At least I had a good laugh on Monday. (The "HPLC flow valve" basically refers to a water faucet.)
To: All Scientists
Subject: Dear He-Man or She-Ra
Please refrain from using your superhuman powers to tighten the HPLC flow valve, as it is very difficult for us mere mortals to open it… and Batman isn’t going to keep responding to the Bat-signal if there isn’t someone in mortal peril.
